What is Private Drug Rehab?
A private drug rehab center is a facility that is privately owned and typically accepts private health insurance or self-paying clients. Our private drug rehab, while still held to some government regulations, has more freedom to provide our own approach to addiction treatment and custom treatment plans for each client. One may consider private rehab akin to private school vs public school.
Like a private school, our private drug rehab facility has a low population with low patient to staff ratio. This allows for more individualized attention and privacy, enabling a more intimate treatment experience.
Fortunately, unlike private schools, private drug rehab can be 100% covered by health insurance in some cases. To verify insurance, please call one of our advisors at 800-481-8457 .
Our Ohio Drug Rehab Offer Programs That Fit Your Specific Needs
If you have been using opioids, benzodiazepines, stimulants, sedatives, or other narcotics, our drug rehab program has medical and clinical experts who specialize in drug treatment. Depending on the type of substance you have been using, your treatment program will differ. For example, stimulants will require a different medical approach compared to alcohol or opioids, and so on.
At OARC, our medical staff will perform what’s called a bio-psycho-social assessment. This assessment factors in the types of substances you have used, mental health conditions, possible trauma, and family dynamics to build a treatment plan custom to your needs.
We offer many programs at all different levels of care. Call us today at 800-481-8457 to help find the option that’s best for you. A compassionate expert is standing by to answer any questions you may have or begin the admissions process. In general, most individuals start from our highest level of care and phase down. We find this model to be most effective:
1. Drug Detox
Drug detox is our highest level of care, which is typically 5-14 days. In a drug detox center, substances are slowly removed from your body with the help of medical interventions. When a person uses substances on a daily basis, physical dependency can occur, which can cause uncomfortable and even dangerous withdrawal symptoms. In a medical detox setting, medications are used to either “taper” off of substances slowly or to make withdrawal more comfortable. Drug detox addresses the physical component of addiction.
2. Inpatient Drug Rehab
Inpatient drug rehab addresses the psychological component of addiction and is typically 30-45 days. Though detox is important and the first step to recovery, detox alone is rarely sufficient to end the cycle of addiction. Our inpatient rehab programs allow clients to live in our residential facility and away from the pressures and temptations of their home environment. During the day, clients take part in individualized therapy, group therapy, utilize accountability and connection with others, and begin to foster new life skills and tools. This might seem hard to do, leaving life behind and disconnecting from the world to work on yourself; but it is often necessary. Getting and staying clean will take some sacrifices, but in the long run, it is all worth it. While in our inpatient treatment program, clients will undergo a highly individualized treatment program that is comprised of therapy, holistic therapy options, life and coping skills training, 12-step work, and ongoing medical and mental health services.
3. Outpatient Drug Rehab
Outpatient treatment, such as intensive outpatient programming (IOP), is typically referred to as aftercare and is a step down from our residential program. IOP can also be best suited for those unable leave their family or work commitments. Our outpatient therapy programs offer the same quality therapy and treatment programming found in an inpatient setting but allow clients to live at home. During outpatient drug rehab, individuals partake in group therapy or individualized therapy for up to nine hours per week either during the day or the evening hours so that individuals can continue going to school or work. However, outpatient drug rehab should not be used as a first line of defense. Outpatient is designed as follow up care that should precede inpatient care. Like detox, outpatient alone is rarely effective at breaking the cycle of addiction.
Short-Term and Long-Term Drug Rehab
When you enter an Ohio drug treatment facility to address your addiction, you should be given all the time you need to address and overcome your substance abuse. Ohio Addiction Recovery Center offers both short and long-term treatment programs that range in duration from 30 days to 90 days; and in some cases even longer. While you’re in our care, you utilize the tools necessary to live life free of substances, however when you leave rehab is when the real work begins. No matter how long your particular program may be, you can be assured that you will receive the same intensive structure and care that will help you address and overcome your substance abuse.
Why Inpatient Drug Rehab is Most Effective
The professional help and support that is found at our addiction treatment center can provide you with the tools and confidence you need to face life clean & sober. At OARC, we believe substance use is just a symptom a larger problem. Addressing the root cause of substance use requires intensive therapy only found in an inpatient setting. Many individuals with a substance use disorder also suffer from co-occurring mental health conditions, such as depression, bi-polar, and anxiety. In fact, a significant number of substance use disorders begin with “self-medication” for these conditions before evolving to an unmanageable addiction.
It is imperative that these issues are addressed if a person is to maintain long term recovery. When mental, emotional, and spiritual components are addressed, one will have a much greater chance of overcoming their substance abuse issues. We know many people are hesitant hesitant about inpatient drug rehab, but Ohio Addiction Recovery Center provides a wide range of evidence-based treatment services that are effective and proven to work. We’re happy to confidentially discuss any concerns you may have, whether it is work, family, or legal issues that may seem like a barrier to treatment.

First, we will conduct a pre-assessment over the phone. This typically takes 20 minutes. During this assessment, we will ask questions about your substance use, health conditions, and verify insurance benefits. We will be able to recommend a level of care and quote any costs associated with treatment. We are in-network with most insurance providers and often times insurance will cover most or all of the costs.
2. Recommended Level of Care
Your pre-assessment is then reviewed by our medical team, which can take up to 45 minutes. If you qualify for our programs, we will recommend a level of care and plan your admission. If you do not qualify for our program, we will help place you in a facility that we recommend and we know offers the same quality of care.
3. Admission and Intake Assessment
If you are accepted into your program, we will begin your admission. Our driver will come pick you up or you can be dropped off. When you admit, you will be given an intake assessment that composes of a bio-psycho-social. Our clinical team will use this to help create a treatment plan. If physical dependency exists, you will first be placed in our medical detox for 5-14 days before admitting to our drug rehab program.
